About Mobilization Labs, LLC

Mobilization Labs, LLC, ("Mobilization Labs") is a people-focused technology company that provides a technology solution known as the Wildfire Social Mobilization Platform ("Wildfire Platform"). Wildfire Platform is sold directly to passion-driven organizations ("Clients"). Wildfire Platform is used by Clients to recruit and mobilize large teams of volunteers and donors (collectively "Supporters") around their causes, candidates, or products. Central to Wildfire Platform is the Wildfire Action Network ("Action Network"), an online social network that is custom-branded for a given Client and integrated with a Client's existing website. Supporters use a Client's Action Network to view each others' profiles, meet other Supporters in the Action Network, share photos, create Supporter teams, organize events, and encourage others to perform actions for the benefit of Client. By using Action Network, Supporters can either be "Visitors" (which means that they simply browse a Client's Action Network) or "Members" (which means they have registered with a Client's Action Network). The term "User" refers to a Visitor or a Member.

To enrich Users' experiences, Action Networks request and display personal information to other Users, which allows Users to identify each other and expand their personal networks within a Client's online community. Users can change their profile information at any time and can control their communication from other Users and from Client whose respective Action Network they have joined.

Information Collection and Use by Mobilization Labs

Mobilization Labs collects user submitted information such as name, email address, and zip code to authenticate Users and to allow Clients to send notifications to those Users that subscribe to their respective Action Networks. Users also may update their personal profile data with information including but not limited to: personal interests, involvement interests, gender, age, education, occupation, favorite books and movies, etc. in order to assist users in finding and communicating with each other.

Mobilization Labs logs non-personally-identifiable information including IP address, profile information, aggregated user data, and browser type, from Users of Action Networks. User IP addresses are recorded for security and monitoring purposes. Mobilization Labs also tracks non-personally-identifiable data over time for the purposes of trending, reporting, and analytics. Mobilization Labs reserves the right to aggregate non-identifiable information and sell this information to third-parties; however, this information will not contain specific names, companies, contact information, or anything of the like.

User personal profiles include Users' pictures and names so as to facilitate User interaction in Action Networks. Email addresses are used for the purposes of recruiting new Supporters to join Action Networks, to add others to a User's team and friend networks, and to send newsletters related to the Action Network. A User's email address is not shared or displayed to other Users, unless a User makes available his or her email address 'Public' under 'Change Privacy Preferences'. User's email address is always made available to Client's staff. To facilitate searching and finding friends and acquaintances in Action Networks, Mobilization Labs allows Users to search for other Users using first and last name and email address.

Information Collection and Use by Clients

Clients contract use of Wildfire Platform and all related services through Mobilization Labs, including the Action Network with which Users interface. Clients have the ability at any time to download information entered into the Action Network for any number of uses. This information could include personal information such as email, phone number, address, etc. of Users. Once a Client downloads information from the Action Network, this information no longer falls under the jurisdiction of Mobilization Labs' Privacy Policy. To understand how a Client would use information, once downloaded, from an Action Network of which you are a member, you should consult that Client's own Privacy Policy. Mobilization Labs does not purport to know the scope of its Clients' Privacy Policies nor shall it be held accountable or responsible for its Clients' uses of information, once downloaded from an Action Network.

Friend Invitations and Other Communications Users

Users of an Action Network can invite acquaintances to join the Action Network by sending friend invitation emails via the Action Network's automated invitation system. Action Network stores the email addresses that Users provide so that respondents may be added to the friend list of the User sending the invitation. Mobilization Labs does not sell these email addresses or use them to send any other communication besides invitations and invitation reminders through Action Networks. Recipients of invitations may contact Mobilization Labs at any time to request the removal of their information from any Action Network.

You may prevent friend invitations from being sent to any email address you control by selecting the 'Opt-Out' option in the 'Change Privacy Preferences' section of the Action Network. Please note that the selection must come from the account from which you wish to opt-out.

Peer-Updating

Action Networks employ an 'Update Missing Information' feature, whereby Users can (a) view the contact information of a friend in their personal network, assuming the friend has made his or her contact information public in the Action Network, and (b) suggest changes to the contact information of the friend in question. This feature is intended to keep current the contact information of Users that do not log-in to the Action Network regularly and whose information may become outdated. When changes to a User's contact information are suggested, the User receives notification from Action Network asking if User wishes to update his or her contact information with the suggested changes. If User accepts the changes, the changes are made to his or her Personal Profile ("Accepted Changes"). If User rejects the changes, the suggested changes are not made in the User's profile ("Rejected Changes"). Any notification that remains unanswered after a period of two weeks automatically expires.
